Patrick Ryan
Group Strategist

Patrick Ryan is a leader in the Information Risk and Compliance sector and has led teams and projects across all industries in his 25 years of experience. In his career, he has worked for some of the largest professional service firms in Africa, the USA, and the UK.

In 2012, Patrick founded Mobius Consulting to help companies manage the Information Risk and Compliance changes required by ever-changing technology, business demands, and risks, as well as external influences such as audits and regulations.

Patrick’s vision for the Mobius Group is to build a global network of like-minded people in practices around the world who collaborate and innovate to help clients tackle their information risk and compliance needs.

Lynn Martin
Group Strategist

Lynn Martin’s (CRISC, CISA, CDPSE, CIPP/M, CIPP/T),  background is in business and IT consulting. Lynn started her professional career at Andersen, later joining The Clicks Group. Lynn spent 6 years at KPMG, leaving as an Associate Director to join Patrick Ryan to start Mobius Consulting in 2012.

Lynn has over 20 years of experience in the consulting world, and although her expertise and history is very much IT focused, Lynn thoroughly enjoys the business side of consulting. This brings a good balance to Lynn’s consulting style and allows her to be diverse in approaching technical and operational solutions.

Working at Mobius has refined Lynn’s skills and dedication to everything related to the company, digitisation and consulting. Lynn is currently focussed on growing new markets for Phinity and the Mobius Group, which involves assisting new regions to establish as well as helping existing businesses to improve and grow.

Amanda Hechter
Senior Managing Consultant

Amanda Hechter (ISO 270001 Lead implementer, ISO 270001 Lead Auditor, Systems Security Certified Practitioner) has 14 years of experience in information governance risk, and security.

Amanda’s specific areas of expertise fall within Identity Access Governance & Management, Information and Cyber Security Management, and Technology Consulting domains across a number of industries.

Amanda is passionate about delivering value to clients through application of her knowledge and experience, through innovative and strategic thinking, and through effective engagement and collaboration, all of which has assisted in the delivery of a number of successful projects. Amanda’s vision is to be known in the Information and Cyber Security industry as a problem solver and ready to take on any challenge and hopes to instill this thinking, passion, and knowledge within the next generation of Information and Cyber Security leaders.

Mary-Ann Labuschagne
Managing Consultant

Mary-Ann has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology, Information Security and Cyber Security across various industries (i.e. Financial Services, Consulting, Telecommunications – amongst others).

She is an experienced Digital Risk, and Information Security Governance Manager, recognised for her expertise in knowing the intricacies of ISO27001, NIST, and the associated Regulatory requirements, developing robust Cyber Strategies, and securing critical IT infrastructures. Her skills encompass Cyber Strategy and Transformation, IT Governance and Risk Management, Information Security Awareness, Third Party Risk Management, IT Change and Incident Management, amongst others.

Mary-Ann supports Mobius with the ongoing development and growth of the business in the UK and across Europe.
